Barton House Ornament Each two-dimensional ornament is exquisitely crafted in brass to capture precise detail. The first ornament in the series features the Barton House, which was originally located in the Abernathy, Texas, area before being moved to its new home at the National Ranching Heritage Center. Materials for the Barton House were brought by train to Amarillo, Texas, then hauled to Abernathy. Plans for this two-story, Queen Anne-style house were ordered from the Modern Dwellings catalog and were unusual for the South Plains. Its high style reflects the confidence of a prosperous Hale County rancher. Each ornament comes in a special gift box with the image gold-stamped on the lid and measures approximately 2-1/2 inches by 3 inches. $19.95
