NRHC Barns

Three NRHC barns are featured on this postcard. Reynolds-Gentry Barn (1877) – Mart B. Gentry stabled thoroughbreds in this Throckmorton County, Texas, barn. Beside it is the Joe B. Matthews Water Tank and a salt trough from Hank Smith's Cross B Ranch in Crosby County. 6666 Barn (1908) – The original barn was built near Guthrie, Texas. The "L" on the gable is his horse brand. U Lazy S Carriage House (1906) – This carriage house from Garza County included a buggy room and storage space for feed and tack and the private saddle room of John B. Slaughter. Postcard measures  5-1/2 by 4-1/4 inches.
