Well, come along boys and listen to my tale, and I’ll tell you of my troubles on the Old Chisholm Trail. And those troubles are plenty. A cattle drive on the Chisholm Trail is anything but a picnic. What with the hail, the flies, the stampedes, the outlaws and the food, it seems like nothing ever goes right. But the cowboys stay pretty cheerful all the way from Texas up to Kansas, where they load the cows on a train and then head out for a night of rollicking recreation.
